I would love to know what you think of it.jdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12775085299874824485noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020695867828466882.post-21749925744390225572008-05-09T17:17:00.001+02:002008-05-09T17:34:20.704+02:00Sketching at Chateau de PenthesYesterday we took our clipboards, some stiff white cartridge paper and a 3B drawing pencil to Chateau de Penthes. Stig is a caveman who lives at the bottom of an old quarry close to Barney's grandmother's house. Barney finds Stig one day when he falls through the roof of Stig's den. They become friends, even though they cannot talk to each other.

Since the quarry is no longer in use, people throw all their rubbish away down there; Stig is good at finding new ways in which to use old things.

On the same day that they cut down an enormous tree (getting warm once in the process) and then use it to start a fire (getting warm for the second time) Stig picks up a piece of charred wood and uses it to draw an amazing hunting scene on the chalk wall of the den.

Then we had a go at using charcoal and chalks to make our own hunting scene. We dusted the paper with charcoal powder and smudged it to give it a greyish background. Then we used charcoal and chalk to make our scene.

"I like yours because of the clouds," said Naoya.jdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12775085299874824485noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020695867828466882.post-15680678681544474642008-02-28T21:26:00.003+01:002008-02-29T16:46:34.928+01:00MemoryInvented by Swati, Umar and Vaishnavi

· First we spread out the cards face up
· Then put the blindfold on
· Then we have to feel them and try to get a pair the same
· Someone tells you if you are right or wrong
· If you are right, it is your turn again
· If you are wrong it’s the next person’s turn
· The winner has the most cardsjdhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12775085299874824485noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1020695867828466882.post-42356389114014522032008-02-01T18:04:00.000+01:002008-02-01T18:19:39.328+01:00What is it like?My Keyring
This is a keyring.
